Growing Roses~
These shorts, although they are your average high waisted denim jean shorts, is very unique in comparison to the many shorts I already own. I love how the denim is cutely made with the cuffed bottoms to give more of an old-school vintage look; however, in contrast the printed white roses adds a touch of girlyness. The fit of these shorts also reminds me of AA high waisted shorts that you can get for triple the price of these affordable pair! These shorts and I are in love at first sight (honestly).
I styled the shorts with this beautiful darker floral kimono that also has rose printed designs on it that you can find on Charlotte Russe! I just love how the roses on the kimono and the roses on the shorts are an incidental similar print. To pair off the neon colors of the kimono I added a simple black halter top from Brandy Melville to complete the entire fit. I went with simpler accessories, as the kimono and shorts paired together already has a lot of patterns going on. I did not want to distract away from the outfit's main focal point, the roses.

Floral Obsession
I'm pretty sure you already know by know that I may be a little, okay a lot, obsessed with florals. I didn't know it was truly an addiction until one of my instagram friends told me something along the lines, "you're always in florals babe." I realized she was right and while scrolling on my instagram page I felt like a floral crack addict with no control. Florals Florals Florals everywhere, as if to flaunt my addiction. With every new purchase it appears to always be floral in some form or manner. Lookbookstore simply fed my addiction, but honestly, how can I say no to such a beautiful shade of kimono? The florals on this kimono definitely remind me of an actual Japanese kimono print. I love the subdue pink and light green combination. The length of this kimono is longer so it pairs amazingly well with shorts and a crop top, which I did here with my Iwearsin signature v-cut crop & my diy high waited shorts. Can you blame me really? It's an actual sin not to purchase this kimono ;) Once a floral addict always a floral addict, I added the floral crown because I'm a floral obsessed addict.
I hope I didn't scare you away with my weird personality! But in any-case I realized my problem with florals and have vowed to myself that I will resist all urges to buy any more floral pieces. Let's just hope it doesn't turn out how everyone plans a new goal during "New Year Resolutions".
